Demona August 30, 1997 In Reply to: Sleep Paralysis (disorder??) by Chris W (UK) on August 29, 1997 Chris Hi!, I am sure the following will sound familiar to you once you here it. In many abduction cases the abductee describes a state they enter that is similar to paralysis in that they can not move or speak. Their mental process continues and they are aware of their surroundings, in other words they know they are in their bed, they can recognize their significant other sleeping quietly next to them, etc. However, in these experiences they report that their significant other is not responsive to any of the things that occur...they seem to be placed into a deep non responsive state of some sort. Thus the comparision to sleep paralysis and the abduction paralysis that is reported. Hope that helps.....D
