Hi Chris,
Sleep paralysis should not be suggested to be the same thing as an alien abduction. Although the symptoms of sleep paralysis have been well documented in abduction research, (a technique the aliens use to isolate your movement so not to harm them, mainly) sleep paralysis is a common, harmless (although frightening) disorder which science cannot adequately explain yet.
